Captain Steve Mitchell, has grown up fishing the San Francisco Bay for the majority of his life, fishing for Halibut, Salmon And his favorite Sturgeon. Captain Steve is one of the most knowledgeable captains when it comes to knowing the fishing grounds and locating his target fish! Safety first is always at the top of his list when departing on an outing, but Educating is key in his eyes. He welcomes begginers to the pros to share his passion.

Have around a dozen people in your party? We have the boat for you. The Malia Kai (means Calm Seas in Hawaiian) is a 37 foot Delta that is unique to our area. Powered with twin John Deere’s, she gets around swiftly. With a large, walk around cabin, the Malia Kai takes about half the passengers of full sized party boats, so there’s lots of elbow room but has the stability of larger vessels.
